All right, today I'm feeling extra sassy. So I wanted to jump on the mic and pop off about a topic that I feel very passionately about. And that is my encouragement to you. If you're listening to this podcast is to create over consume. What do I mean when I say that we all have our telephones, our laptops, our iPads, our computers. We are glued to screens all day, every day. Everything is online and that is.

very awesome, beautiful, makes things very convenient, but it also can be a huge time suck, especially if we get on the doom scroll train, okay? And I am completely guilty of doom scrolling as well, but instead of doom scrolling, why don't you start creating? And what do I mean by that? Start creating your own content. Share your life or your thought leadership or your skills with the world.

And if you're listening this and thinking, I don't want my mom to see, or I don't want Susie Q from high school to see and make fun of me. Just block them from whatever platform you're using that you want to start creating on. So if it's Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, whatever it is, choose one platform. And then once you get really good at that platform, then incorporate another platform. You don't have to be

Everywhere all the time to everybody just start with one medium and once you perfect that and get good at that then go to the next one That's what I did when I started my online journey. I had no clue what I was doing on Instagram I had no clue what I was doing on LinkedIn. I had no clue what I was doing with this podcast thing either so And I had an episode out recently about be okay sucking Be okay sucking if you start your creation journey because you never know what can happen

Fast forward three years later and what you see online. mean, I've been a guest on over a hundred podcasts. I've been featured in over 41 publications, all organically. I've never paid a PR firm once. These publications are ranging from entrepreneur magazine, Inc. All the above. And I did it just by starting to put myself out there online. Yes. Was I cringe at first? Yes. Did I have the people commenting about my little podcast or my little content or whatever? Yes. But.

Don't let those people hold you back or don't even care what they have to say. Yes, it kind of hurts in the beginning, but what are they doing with their life anyways? So that's my message to you today is start creating content, over consuming content. So, and you never know what can happen. The sky is truly the limit. There are 8 billion people on this world and I truly believe that there is enough for every single person. So that's my message today is start creating and

Stop consuming. So thanks for listening. Don't forget to subscribe and share.
